More Ideas for My Site

I like several things about this designer's website. The space above the red "Nine Lion" bar is a pop up. I happen to like lions too and I like his use of a picture background along with a vector illustration with the "about me" tab. I like the layout of information on this "about me" page and the fact that he has the "contact me" button easily accessible. 

This menu organization just seems very clean to me.
I like the mixture of  2 types in the logo with the sans serif in the headers. It is elegant yet fun.

I think her descriptions of herself are funny. It might be good to have a few phrases that summarize who I am like this.

I like J. Crew's combination of the horizontal and vertical menus. I also love the mix of color, typography, and image.

I like this design firm in Charlottesville called Watermark. I'm trying to find a local firm to design a website for the company I launched this summer. They might have the energy here to help me get some momentum and legitimacy as a company.

I simply LOVE my best friend's sister's blog! It's called "I SIMPLY LOVE." 

Anne Carlyle Lindsay is the author and is a 2009 graduate of JMU. She also majored in graphic design so she takes care in editing her photos and adding typography. It's cute, organized, and informative, great for every college-aged woman. LOVE IT.

Top Three Fave Websites

I turn to AIGA to seek inspiration and search for contests and internships. AIGA has a lot to offer and I have yet to really take advantage of it.

Everything about Nike is cool. Their website. NikeiD. Their brick and mortar stores. Their advertising.
Just Do It.

I like being current with the news, but I also like humor. The Onion puts the two together. It's a hoot!
